Blaine Builder Award
Do you know someone that has contributed to the community and should be honored? If so, nominate them for a Blaine Builder Award. Each month, the City Council recognizes a community member who has made a difference in Blaine. This month's recepient is Brent Brentnall. Brent has been coordinating the Community Assistance Program for several years. This program provides help to families in need. He also coordinated the Thanksgiving Dinners for needy families which served over 200 local families this year. Brent has done much more.
If you know someone like Brent, let us know. We would like to consider them for a Blaine Builder Award. Call City Hall and ask for Gary or Debbie Harger.
Is the city going to put in the wayside horns at the railroad tracks? I live in Bellingham and remember reading that you were looking into it. Is that moving forward?

I don't know how to contact anyone at this blog, but I think it's very important to have up information about the recent dairy bombing and other anti-Muslim incidents in Blaine.
Emily Bright has written a piece about it here:

The Star Trib also has been covering the incidents some.
Town Hall meeting on Thursday about the incidents...very important for Blaine residents to attend!
